Protein Energy Bites

Delicious on-the-go snacks for added nutrition and a boost of energy!

Quick and Easy to Make!

Ingredients

1 Cup of Puffed rice cereal

½ Cup of Creamy peanut butter

½ Cup Honey

¾ Cup of Protein Powder (I recommend Protein World’s Slender Bend or Whey in order to keep this recipe sugar free)

Optional: Add in mini chocolate chips or shredded coconut for flavor

Instructions

Combine: In a large mixing bowl, combine puffed rice cereal and protein powder together

Mix: Stir in creamy peanut butter, honey and any extras to the mixture. If the mixture feels too dry, stir in a little extra nut butter or a teaspoon of melted coconut oil

Chill: Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours as this will make the mixture easier to shape

Shape: Scoop and roll into 1 inch balls

Store: Keep refrigerated in a sealed container for up to one week or freeze for up to two months
